Art Therapy (Kentish Town City Farm)

These sessions combine art with a gentle exploration of underlying psychological dimensions that may surface in the work, giving opportunities to develop greater self awareness within a supportive environment. As well as working with a wide range of mediums including pastels, acrylics, collage, clay etc. you will also have the opportunity to contribute to group exhibitions if you wish to do so.
Creative Writing (Kentish Town City Farm)
An opportunity to explore yourself and your feelings, to let go, have fun, play with a few ideas and begin to create something new. These sessions consist of experimental games and techniques to inspire creative writing. We will work to find a creative voice and build self esteem through words as well as overcoming any fears about writing. The sessions focus not only on creating written pieces, but also how to edit and refine them.

Gardening sessions (Kentish Town City Farm)
Gardening is a wonderfully therapeutic activity that can help anyone transform their lives, regardless of age, condition or disability. You can choose what you'd like to grow and learn about at a level of physical activity that you feel comfortable with.
Outdoor sessions involve planting seeds and cuttings and pruning as well as digging for those more physically inclined. Indoor sessions include healthy cooking using herbs and vegetables grown during the sessions, as well as classes on building bird and window boxes. Although session content may vary depending on the weather, please remember to bring wellies or other shoes you don't mind getting muddy, along with warm clothes if it's cold!
Yoga And Relaxation (Expressions Studios)
Led by an experienced yoga teacher with many years of experience working
as a massage therapist and reflexologist, these sessions are enjoyable, safe
and fun. They take a holistic, intuitive approach with the aim of relaxing body
& mind, providing useful, practical relaxation tools for daily life; a
chance to unwind and recharge in a friendly, supportive environment.
You will need to wear clothes you can move in easily, we have all other equipment there.
